closed on our house in Petworth, DC. a home that served us very well.

adopted Sadie. our furborn daughter.

Emilia was born. our first. rocked our world. but we were a healthy family of three humans.

with three kids, a dog, busy jobs, we're probably in the busiest time of our lives right now. every day i'm thankful for everything you do for our family, for all the meals you make, for all the encouragement, confidence, and humor you instill in us, and for the support you give me for my job, my experiments, and all of my oddball hobbies.

i'm not the best at showing appreciation. or gift planning. but i do truly love you. and i'm thankful for everything you do.

i'm lucky to have you and lucky to be part of our beautiful family that makes me feel joy to the extent that i never could have imagined feeling before we had this.
